Yes, the infamous ‘ABOUT‘ page.

Matthew W. Perry - a.k.a tekgnu

I am obviously an open source enthusiast, and programming aficionado.
I am married to an outstanding woman (Aramenda), and have a very vocal baby girl (Anaka).
I live in one of the greatest states in the union, Colorado, but I can’t call myself native.
I work in the IT field, but my comments do not represent of the views of my employer (EDS - an HP Company).

– Interests and Biases –

So I wanted to take the opportunity to provide insight and relative objectives in this site.  This site is more then just a hobby, it is a window into my passion for technology, and random topics.  My objective is to have a public dialogue on a sundry of issues.   Now to understand my biases; I am a conservative - liberal, or liberal - conservative, I am not sure which.  I have never found a very clear definition of either.  As a general principal, I don’t believe in spending more then I have, this includes money, time, and the environment.  I believe in the shared responsibility of what we consume, and being an active part of your community.  As for my moral compass, I have mine and at their core, people need to take responsibility for their actions, for that is where freedom exists.  As such I don’t agree that values should be imposed on me and mine, for that is in my opinion best left to cults, and madmen.  Ultimately be good to each other and if you don’t need it, and didn’t pay for it, don’t take it.

The writer of digitalanomaly.com has written a superior article. I got your point and there is nothing to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not disagree with: You can learn a lot from your dog on the internet I will be back.
